What is the best Amp with DSP ??

Hey guys I'm looking @ the Wondom Jab5 amps. I would get 2 of them to run each of my 3 way speakers.

I was just reading around the forums and people were complaining about the sound quality of these amps. Has anyone had any issues with the SQ of them??

I have a zoudio amp, but it seems I only have 4 channels, and I can not output signal to another amp...

Is there another 4 or 6 channel amp out there that allows you to pass through the signal? or any other amps out there that will get the job done? (DSP)

Thanks guys !

I thought I just read on the Zoudio thread in Vendors Bazaar that their new amp can do I2S as input.

Perhaps you'd be breaking new ground, but if that's so, I dont see any reason why one couldnt "stack" these amps with one being I2S master. Until the master runs out of "fan out" on its digital drivers - assuming that would be the BT chip. Or, if you go to an external USB to I2S, however many digital input receivers that particular board can drive.

So if that's workable, there's 8 channels. Or 12, or 16. Stereo, of course, as each output pair can be set to provide L or R. You could have a whole 4CH board just "L", another board just "R". Two channels PBTL running a pair of woofers, the remaining two for mid and tweet.

I happen to like the sound of the TAS5825 the Zoudio board uses. I had a not as good experience with a ADAU1701 based device and steered clear ever since. I assume others can hear whatever it was I heard as well.

In my above suggestion, I overlooked the fact that the Volume (control) information is NOT conveyed via I2S.

Perhaps not so bad, if you architect the amps so that one drives the mid-highs, the other bass. Then the second volume is like a subwoofer level. A separate amp for each channel; well, left and right volume controls.
