32 and 300 Ohm is dominant.
This is good to know when you make a Headphone Amplifier for publish.

It is very important to book keep separately:
- Dynamic (most popular)
- Planar
- Electrostatic
- Electrostatic direct drive
Although, electrostatic (driving stepup transformers) and low-Z dynamic are similar enough to be treated the same.
I am going to do this backwards, I am building the Aegis tube headphone and trying to decide what headphone to use with it. It is a unique tube amp with an impedance switch on the back .

It collected a lot of dust and headband and cushions are starting to disintegrate, same as my ears do. 150 Ohm Yamaha HP-2.
Thanks for voting, even if some values are missing in the poll.
Of the votes it is clear most people have 300 Ohm closely followed by 32 Ohm.

Currently using a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50X Headphones rated at 38 Ohms, they are mainly used in recording studios for mixing tracks, but, I found that they seem to work really well with my OTL Headphone Amplifier I built using three Svetlana 6N1P tubes, and an article I found online while doing some searching on Google for OTL Headphone Amp schematics.
aren't enough check boxes. I don't have any *good 8-ohm headphones, and some of the good ones in my collection are around 150k.
