Pa was a hired Gun (for amp or two and, I believe, even preamp or two), not involved in company per se, as far as I know
They were great guys. - Me, I just designed stuff and cashed the checks.
And Paul's video was a pleasure to watch.

I've looked around but have seen conflicting reports as to which amplifiers you designed for Adcom. Fairly certain you did the original 555 and the 5800, but were there any others? They were great guys. - Me, I just designed stuff and cashed the checks.
It was an interesting video!

Not counting autosound and preamps, those two were specifically mine.
The ones that followed were adaptations based on those.

Why when you can design stuff here for us for free?

FWIW, I recently read that you designed the old Soundstream D60 and D100 amps - ones I used quite a lot as a young car stereo geek. Those designs were fantastic, I had no idea you were involved! Not counting autosound and preamps, those two were specifically mine.

Indeed. Money only rents happiness.
GFA/GFP? Actually those names were in place when they called me up.
Soundstream?
Yes, I did a lot of the work on the auto sound amps. Unfortunately they
sounded good in listening rooms, and were not so popular in cars -
apparently there is a different aesthetic there....

Man, amongst me and my friends SS was the holy grail. I probably bought a dozen D60, D100, and D200s over the years. Spectacular amps, I think they were just a bit too expensive for most auto buyers. But they were worth it.
Thanks Nelson for another wonderful quote "Money only rents happiness". I will credit it to you when I use it [emoji4]Indeed. Money only rents happiness.
