What equipment do i need to measure my DIY speakers?

Ok - Obviously i have a computer (and it has a decent sound card)so...what else do i need? I assume a microphone and a sound generating program but is there more than that? Do i need a RS SPL meter (i'd have to go buy another one - lent mine out several years ago and can't remember who borrowed it!)?

Any info would be great!

You need a proper mic and mic preamp, and software designed for speaker measuring, such as Speaker Workshop. Speaker Workshop is free. Search for it on the web. For a good mic preamp kit, go here:
