what does it mean to wire a push pull

I am looking at building iso-barik sub . some said to me to wire it as a push pull .

Could someone tell me what this means ? Is it hard to do

Mount the drivers face-to-face. Then parallel wire the drivers, red on one to black on the other.

A push-push isobarik would be quite complex to build. Just using the 2 woofs in a normal push-push would require a box 4 x as big.

People like to use isobarik to allow for a small box size,
but sacrifice effeciency. The canceling of distortion is cool,
but it's hard to distinguish the difference.

how does wiring them in parallel like this effect your ohms load on my sub amp does'nt double it to 16 ohms

Wiring two drivers in series doubles the impedance (resistance) (two 8 ohm drivers in series give an easier load of 16 ohm.

wiring two drivers in parallel gives a harder load on the amplifier as it halves the impedance.

Remember the changed impedance value when doing the calculations for your low-pass filtyer for the subwoofer.

That sounds right...

One amp with
+amp to +speaker
and
-amp to -speaker
on one speaker, and the other amp going
+amp to -speaker
and
-amp to +speaker
