Good day,
I thought it would be interesting to know what people are using to do their cabinet drawings?
What software or (better) freeware are you using to make your drawing?
2D, 3D?
I am currently using Alibre but it is not quite adequate for the task of just making quick drawings.
If you want to suggest that you heard about but haven't tried, that is OK too!
🙂
Cheers,

I use VectorWorks (not free thou) for 2D work and import shapes from that into SketchUp for 3D Visualizations...

I use Solidworks as I have a youngster (relatively speaking, 90% of North America is younger) down the block who went to Carnegie Mellon and can help me out.
Dr. ODD said:I am using Pencil and Paper😎
I'll often start there....pen, pencil, felt marker, and whatever is handy to draw on, including cardboard or a chunk of plywood.

Pencil and back of envelope (I keep envelopes in specially). Then scan and fiddle about in Illustrator.
Photoshop if I'm trying to make something look realistic-ish to see how it will impact my finely balanced domestic environment (i.e. to see how much trouble I'll get into for introducing two of THOSE into the house).
