Trans-Express is a freight shipping company with better rates than Fedex, UPS, Post office etc. You can always give them a call and see how much shipping would be for a 80- 150 LB unit to you.

spending $200 or so on a CRT projector (good condition) & $100 - $150 shipping isnt to bad. You can always work with the seller to get an actual shipping cost rather than an inflated one.

Thank God i'm able to pick it up! The person selling it said NO PICKUPS well i bribed him i said i'd give him half the shipping cost for his pocket. 🙂 but he's still playing hard to get! he's now saying he might not want to sell it. Eh i'll just e-mail he every day tell he does. butt-hole

Bobcat I know the feeling My brother found a whole stash of lcd projection panels and I talked to the person whom would be selling them to me and he first tried to get a outragious price for them and I Started to haggle with him and eventually said he had another potential buyer( hummm wierd since half of the population dosent know what the heck a projection panel is) so I said well Im sorry But the price we talked about is as high as I can go................eventually he sold them to me, the shister bastard........................so moral of the story dont believe anyone untill the products is in your hand, Oh BTW I sold all of those panels locally and made a grand..........Good times:nod:

Hey, if you want a CRT projector, I've got a nice Sony 1042Q I'll sell you for $450.00 It's got some 4:3 burn, but it's no big deal, you just keep the image in the burn area. I'd say it's got 6-7k hours *left* on the tubes.

It throws a bright 10' image that walks on all but the nicest LCD projectors. I think it would probably throw well up to 15' feet if you had a big enough screen. It's got composite and S-Video input (which is good because you get better colors with the new digital cable boxes and S-video). The only thing wrong with it is the door on the controls has a chunk out of it and is missing a couple hinges (it still closes, and I could actually fix it if you wanted).

I've used it for 4 months for my home theater and it works great. I'm selling it because I went out, actually spent some money and got myself a real bad-*** three gun CRT and my wife said now I have to get rid of some of my toys because they're cluttering up the apartment. ; )

Anyway, let me know if you're interested, I belong to SquareTrade so you don't have to just take my word for it that "it is what it is" and that "I'm a good guy"

My SquareTrade seal

since I initiated this online, any business we do would be protected by them. I would naturally help you by pre-converging it and walking you through getting it set up and running. I've also got PDF's of the manuals, can send you pix of it and the image, etc. etc. This set should last you for 5 years or more.
