I have a denon mini system which is full of TI parts.LHave you seen many TI or AD parts in consummer products lately?
🤣 ... that was a good one MarcelvdG !Politics are not allowed on this forum.
Most of the time a CEO prefers to lunch with the sales manager over the technical staff manager or the purchasing director...
hummm, who's the richest : the inventor of that smiley or the inventor of the NE5532 : both industrial success !NE5532 🙂 ?
Well...someone at TI didn't like ne5532 too much and lowered its price for the masses 😉 Imagine what would have happened with all audiophile reviews if they'd sell it for 20$ each .
Which is GOOD.Michelangelo told us that we should all lay on churche's walls staring into God's infinity...
It´s about the highest Art level created by Humanity.
Maybe you prefer to sit 9 hours in a cubicle looking at its empty walls?
Or at a spreadsheet?
WHO cares about "audiophiles" ?Well...someone at TI didn't like ne5532 too much and lowered its price for the masses 😉 Imagine what would have happened with all audiophile reviews if they'd sell it for 20$ each .
0.000000000001% of the Market.
Who anyway won´t buy it because it´s "too common folk".
Allow me to unlike Michelangelo and Davinci...I simply don't like their artwork, it never impressed me...at all...Which is GOOD.

You don't have to...I preffer Pink panther if I like to watch pink cartoons...I have the feeling that most people who take a stance for Michelangelo's art never really studied it... nor his personal life ... he's done the Sis-teen or Sex-with-teen chappel?

Made out of 1000 x ne5532 in parallel? Quite good distortions on 0.3 ohms load 🙂the power amp
I don't particularly rate Da Vinci as an artist but I do rate him extremely highly as an engineer/inventor/scientist.Allow me to unlike Michelangelo and Davinci...I simply don't like their artwork, it never impressed me...at all...
It was unfortunate that his writings were over centuries read by art historians rather than scientists or engineers.
Example: For a long, long time scientists wondered how veins work ie how they manage to stop blood from running backwards and once they discovered those little valves in them by what mechanism they close. It was finally (re-)discovered in the late 19th or early 20th century.
Then long after that a biologist read through Da Vinci's notes only to discover that he perfectly described those valves and how they function.
500 years of medical history wasted.
There is also his glider. Some time ago thy have built his design using only materials available to Leonardo.
The result was that Da Vinci's design produced too much lift and in the margins of his notes they found a sketch of his proposed steering mechanism which was a A frame exactly like the ones used in current modern hang gliders.
I agree with you on Davinci's engineering skills, that's perhaps why I don't like him being put next to Michelangelo...Anyway, the Swiss invented eternal peace besides refining our first watches with german technology, unlike the catholic church who invented world's finest pedophile priests stoping everyone's clock for 2000 years...De Sade besides spending 27 years at Bastille prison thanks to catholique church also wrote Justine....

diyAudio is my favorite place to get in depth criticism of Renaissance artists! 🙄
Damn...I need to read the forum rules again...I get old and forget things...Is the use of words like "sadistic" banned too?I usually would agree with you but religion is just as much a taboo subject here as politics. 😉
Anyway...I think the causes for op-amps costs being e-LUCIDATED all we need is a moderator to close this topic too...or we just talk of everything else we can come up with...
Otherwise I already thanked the whole community for helping me with the last ironic answer to my last technical question I will ever ask on this forum and I swear to none other than God that I will never contribute with anything technical to this forum also! I can be an audiophile too!
