There were at least a couple of Denon mid-line players in the 1988-90 area that had PCM61P dacs w/8x OS, which sent the voltage output of each dac chip directly to the output jacks, via unneccessary dc blocking caps. I believe one model like this was the DCM-444 changer.

Aliasing of 8x OS can probably well removed
by using a Jensen DM2-2RR transformer.
Using transformers as output filters avoids ic's and
does also have the advantage of splitting ground
and symmetrical use.
