I thought I would peek my head through the door of the Pass Labs area.
I avoid this area due to shear information overload.
I have a transformer salvaged from a Bryston 3B, I was going to restore it but recently changed my mind. Actually the Bryston has 2 transformers, one I have already started to modify for something else.
Now on the bottom of the Bryston amp it says 960VA, however on the transformers themselves read 250VA. They are center-tapped, I can easily divide them into separate rails. Is it possible that I have a ~500VA transformer ie: 250VA per rail? That would add up to what it states on the bottom.
So if you can save me days of reading and point me in the right direction.
What model of Pass goes with 50volt rails? Is my 250VA enough or do I actually have 500VA?
Thanks for your time.

250VA each is too small for Class A use. You might like to consider Class A/B or one of the newer Class D amps.
There are a few but my Aleph 4 uses 48-0-48 at over 3A per channel. It needs at least 500VA per channel.

That would be using your + and - rails as positive for 2 ch. Really dosen't sound like you have enough otherwise?
Just off the top of my head...
