Oh jeez. I've got to try it for internal enclosure wiring only. I've read of skin effect and such things like that for high current applications for solid copper wires. But speaker drivers are so dynamic... Your approach is very interesting. I'll try it out, thanks for responding!
for small cabinets and small speakers, I use the wires that are commonly found on PSU's for computers. 22gauge tinned.
For subs I dare to use 12 gauge house wiring with a small flex piece soldered at the end (to make connecting it to spring pins easier.)

Thanks all for your responses.
Nice to read different approachs, Planet10 has answered to me in a previous thread with the cat 5 solution, new to me.
My question became a question, when i started to think: ¨if i have at home the cable that will connect the speaker to the amp, why is not obvious to use the same cable in the internal enclose...? ¨
Why i need to use connectors in the enclosure, and i do not go straight from the FR speaker to the amp?
i've this cable at home

I did the 'one piece from drive unit to amp' for a short while with my P10 EmKens.
Then I decided to experiment with tweeters so cut the wires / wired them to the already installed binding posts, tweeter wires bind with speaker cable, choco block connector connections allow for quick swapping of caps / resistors
