Watered down instant coffee with ice, a bit of milk and vanilla . Getting ready to head out in the garden for a few hours.
I've been too busy (read: lazy) to mix up a batch of my own cold-brew coffee the last few days, so I've been going to McDonald's for their large iced coffee. The trick it to order it black - no cream, no "liquid sugar" (cane syrup). Then it's a roll of the dice to see if the kid at the touch pad can push the right buttons to actually make this happen. (They are becoming gradually more aware.) Then you gotta strain out most of the ice so it doesn't dilute itself to oblivion. This accomplished, the actual coffee is pretty damn tasty, I must admit. And for about a buck-and-a-half during their 3-hour "happy-hour," it's the best deal in town. Of course I can't have it after around 4 PM anymore without being up all night, but hey.

My wife keeps telling me that the coffee is good there, haven’t tried it yet however, since we have an automatic espresso machine.
