Finished off a few Tanqueray-tonic-lime wedge. Ready to grill some brats and watch the Rangers continue their domination of the AL West.
A nice Buffalo Trace on cubes and watching the Tigers whup some Ranger a$$!😀
My wife's sister got married to an English lad living in Devon, England, so we went for a visit. What a beautiful green and serene place it is. Well, it seems the guy's on that side of the pond do things different from us here in South Africa. They drink their whiskey clean without ice. Very difficult for me, I need ice to cool it. I took with two bottles of 80 % straw-rum. The guy's persisted to take it neat like whiskey without Coke and ice for a mix. Needless to say, I saw some some very ill people the next morning. It is a great drink, tastes like rum and raisin ice cream, not for children !

Stroh -- in the U.S. "Stroh's" -- perhaps the same family but it's beer over here. We used to call it "the beer that made Detroit famous". I think you could buy a case (24 cans) for $6 back in 1974.
What's with all the baseball during hockey season?
I am enjoying an Oland's Export Ale after watching the Halifax Mooseheads win their first ever Memorial Cup game! (The beat Portland 7-4.)

This is a good topic, normally I love my craft beers and good whiskey but tonight its cheap and what was in the fridge, Miller light.
Sorry Tiger fans. I've been celebrating with, what else, Shiner Bock.A nice Buffalo Trace on cubes and watching the Tigers whup some Ranger a$$!😀
And contemplating good odd$ for Yu Darvish to win the Cy Young Award.
Coffee and beer, any beer, but preferably Pilsner Urquell.
Beer has alcohol in homeopatic quantities only, so it is quite healthy when you come to think of it.

Some of us prefer actual sports, eh?
Yep, around here hockey is not that big, rugby is our main winter sport closely related what you guy's call football. Congrats, the Yanks actually beat us twice last week in seven a side rugby ! 😱
Pitchers' duel today.😀
Hi Sy,
Well, we were on the right side of the meltdown yesterday for a change......
...maybe a pitcher's duel today.
Keeping an eye on the NHL playoffs, just loses a lot if your hometown team is not in the mix.
Backing off on the tequila today.....+1 on the coffee!
Cheers,
Terry
Olde English 800 malt liquor. Say what you will but icy cold its great and for $1.50 for 40 ounces it is hard to beat the price.
OE 40's... 🙂 That's one of those "throw one back after work" drinks I'll consume occasionally, but could never make a habit of.
Rialto Grappa; at 80 proof grappa lite compared to the uncle's home brew but on the plus side a decent alternative to the pancake syrup sold locally.
Wines from Macedonia
One of the local wine stores gets a lot of "different" wines -- nice selection of South African, Greek, Hungarian. I guess that Phillips progeny made wine too:
