Right, powered on. Use the 200 volt range and just get each lead on the terminals without shorting across anything else. Fairly easy to do in this case.Surely it should be powered on to do this test ?

The amplifier may deliver close to 100 watts into an 8 ohm load.
The supply voltage is a little high for the output devices if they were to drive a lower impedance load.
I also expect the supply voltage to sag a little when driving a load.
Anyway, it looks like a nice amp to drive 8-16 ohm loads. Maybe see how much you like it as far as sound before parting it.
Also depends on your speaker efficiency and listening tastes as far as should you scrap it for a class A amp.
Happen to have a picture of the transformer label?

These do sound very good hence I’m selling my pass labs Aleph 3 clone ( class A )
My speakers are very efficient ( 96db )

Selling class A to use class AB is cursing in the church Mr. TheFinisher 🙂 Glad you use the ears and not the brain to decide.
If it would be my devices I would think of cap replacement and a speaker protection circuit.

Yeah I know but it’s a no brainier… 2 x monoblocks at £85 that to my ears sound better than most amps I’ve ever had ( **** loads ) vs a £1300 ( for sale at £700) Class A power consuming beast ( that needs an hour to warm up ) .
Actually I did really like my Alchemist Krakens.
