BRACE FOR BASIC QUESTION:
I'm looking to fab a little box that mixes multiple inputs and keeps both current and voltage stable/constant (by reducing it, normally) without sacrificing sound Q. This is going to mix a few devices like iPod, a few aux in's, and my phone before it reaches my miniDSP, ironically advertised above. 😉 So basically, a signal-standardizing box that mixes then produces a steady output, and loses as little sound quality as is possible.
Another q is if I break down a USB car charger, hardwire it, will the 750mA/5v be the same if I run two devices in series, one constantly, one occasionally (I could test this..)
Thanks for any help on these basic points!
