Has anyone there ever lived with, or at least listened to these things? I haven't yet. I'm interested to hear what other people think about them.
no experience with the diamonds, but i have lived with the modus musics for a few years now. they are pretty boomy, although i don't have them positioned away from the wall, so that doesn't help. my total neophyte impression is, they are good for general music listening in a family room type of environment, but probably wouldn't stand up to audiophile scrutiny. they can definitely handle high volume for our living/dining room (~13x24ft).
i'm actually looking to get rid of them, as i am replacing them with some FR boxes made by dave d, supplemented soon (i hope) with a DIY subwoofer.

Any thoughts on the Diamond 8.2's as well. That is whatI am beginning to home-in on. Re-posting this for the unfortunate souls that missed it the first time around.
