40,000 hours! Philips only gave a 10k hour life expectancy to the "SQ" E130L.

Hi Friend, cause overpriced part of electronic. The difference between this and other of Chinese one completely subjective. I was tempted to get a pair.
Not spend money in this, dear friend of Montpellier, some body talk about the E130L, you can reach the power and the sound of any 300B for 30 euros and the life expectancy is probed 10K, who measures the supposed 40K of the new triode. I this way, spend more than 1000 for any valve is completely a waste of resources. The answer, subjective. I just found the most important part of the chain are the transducers. Spend big money in horns.
The best for you.

That roll print system should be completely automated. There is no reason in this day of factory automation to have such a manually intensive process. The holder for the pins should be a retracting clamp system so there is very little friction on inserting the pins in the holder, or removing them.
I understand that the use of ancient tube making equipment relies heavily on manual labor. However there are non critical processes which Should be automated.

Maybe not if this job is a TheGimp and his family income ? Not funny to be unemployed because engineers have been automated 98 % of the human activity's or substituted them with the robots. Imagine all human kind intellectual creations is obsolete , AI deep learning and Quantum machines performance is superior ? WE tubes quality control is made with American Workers and original Bell Labs standards not by computer software who do use video cameras. That roll print system should be completely automated.
what incredible mind...

USA life standard can't compare to China so price can't be cheap. I doubt if chinese Harley Davidson copy be 3k$ less so OK is my choice. Two can have the same speed on the road I know Every 300B pairs are matched by professional team and expensive curve tracer, again this take time and labour. Tube with individualy printed documentation and serie number in the box.
Yes Dady You are right about speaker drivers and horns! Gratias Indeed audio source is not always neutral.

I do not use Harley, they loosen the teeth and burn your legs, do not turn in the curves well and do not brake safely. I use BMW Motorrad that costs less and is much more reliable. I understand that many people justify finding subjective details when they spend a lot of money. In particular I was tempted to buy them but then I saw the theme of the legend, Harley, Rolex, etc. Emission Lab or some produced by Meyer in Germany. Humans love myths, legends; they transfer religious phenomena to things and subjectivity and the placebo effect is a proven fact in the Laboratory. On the other hand, they talk about distortion and when in an amplifier SE gold ears appear and find unknown epithets in which they take advantage and turn all their expectations. It would be necessary to see how much WE has spent on advertising to massively publish the reappearance of the WE300.

The most precise question that I don't think I have asked myself but I know is the most eloquent: It is really possible that with an amplifier with more than 1%, given the same circuit conditions and a good impedance adaptation with the speakers, is it possible Do you hear the triangle or the clarinets louder in a very loud way? Or can you tell the difference between any 300B and the new WE that cost less than the NOS or the latest ones manufactured in Kansas in the Western Electric laboratories?
It is also true that one gets excited, rejoices and tells oneself; "What a joy, how lucky there are people who think of audiophiles and remade the legendary 300B"!
Luckily there was a pre-registration to receive it and after several months they were going to build it. This cooled my head and made me make the wisest decision.
