Any side that takes on the All Blacks in a final has a job on their hands. Love their fantastic running rugby.
I played centre at school for 2 yrs but quickly realised I wasn’t physically up to it. No fun as a skinny 14 yr old getting flattened by guys 20 lbs heavier. 😂😂😂

They played stupid all match. But I get what you are trying to say. They only started playing when the chips were down....after the yellow was upgraded to red. But even then.Had the Kiwis been less stupid in the first half you would have been looking
Everyone knows how the Springboks play. Instead of hatching a plan. The All Blacks went to their default attacking play. They could have won if kicking to posts. Or by bypassing the Springboks's narrow rush defence, by the flyhalf kicking cross-field to his wingers. Or kicking over. Or by going for the maul in all of their lineouts close to the tryline. But I guess that is what you get if you have a mediocre head coach with two excellent assistant coaches. A clear gameplan but who chose it because it was the wrong plan?
But you won't hear me complaining about their mistakes.
Happy for the Springboks which I support because I was born and grew up in South Africa.
Played rugby from my 12th year to my 54th year. This year I hung up my boots just because it takes up so much time. Body is still fine. Played 2nd row at school And tighthead prop for the rest of my life. (PS The Crouch. Bind. Set. made it possible for me to play rugby till 54. So much safer and waaaay less neck and back injuries)
Looks like there was only one team at the World Cup who knew what a proper winning margin is!!! 😉But if you want to win by a proper margin look at the Irish results!!!!!!! ☘️
One of our Kiwi friends from Napier sent us this (his wife is South African - they visited us this summer)
Yeah have been sent that many times in whatsapp. The list of what they have is endless. Running water. A functioning government. A future. One of the safest countries in the world. Etc.
In my old town people have to go for weeks without running water. Sometimes weeks without electricity as well (Transformerhouses that have been burned down) That is apart from the loadshedding ( sometimes for 10 hours a day)
National Rugby performance goes in cycles. SA for now, but another side will come up in a few yrs and sit at the top. They played stupid all match. But I get what you are trying to say. They only started playing when the chips were down....after the yellow was upgraded to red. But even then.

I was 13 in 1970 when the All Blacks toured SA. It was one match each and the final game (which was in Cape Town IIRC) was the series decider. The selectors recalled some of the forwards who had gone into semi-returement. I think one of the guys was pushing 33 or 34 which is old for a forward at that level, but he was BIG and SA played their heavy physical game and scraped through to win the series. One of the All Black's wingers (Brian Williams?) could run 100 yards/meters in 10.5 seconds.
My memory is clearly not what it should be

There were 4 tests played.
Different times that’s for sure. I was at the Kings Park game when they played Natal.
