Find 1 philips 12inch (fs=44hz Q=0.19)
find a 8inch philips on a conical pipe.(43hz or so)
put the 12inch on the Mouth of the conical pipe.remove the 8inch speaker.
make a port,at the end of it (the old throat)
it is now a throat=0.6x Sd mouth= ? 0.2x Sd Decreasing area conical pipe!
listen to see if it makes any bass.😕
(mine doesnt make too much) the cone moves alot but just makes flapping noises. it makes quiet 50hz but the speaker can only take 40watts rms anyway,and is low excursion :-D.
how unscientific is that!
i think the speaker would work better in a ported box the same size lol.
