Merry Christmas to ya all. I've been seaching google for the last 2 hours to see if i could find different driver types for sub bass.
I came across this good site. www.sensaphonics.com
They sell [TACTILE SOUND TRANSDUCERS] and [AURA BASS SHAKER].
Could someone please tell me how these drivers work, whether they are voice coil and magnet,or electrostastic or something alse.
The site only gives the specifications, and a small picture.
I need to know is either the [Tactile Sound Transducers] or [Aura Bass Shaker] is suitable for pa/disco use where i want to add rumble and deep bass to my excisting speakers which go down to 35 hz.Hopefully the 2 different transducers go down to 20hz.
They are not very high power though, one is 100w rms and the other is 50w rms.
Check the site out, www.sensaphonics.com and then please tell me whether or not they are suitable for my application pa/disco in a medium venue. Thanks,BULL

Those are only meant to shake seats, not actually make bass that gets passed into the air like a PA/Disco system would need. You need actual woofers for that. Even if you mounted them to the floor, they would only shake the floor and not actually make any sound that you can hear. You need big woofers for that.
