I am using REW to take some measurements
My issue is that I am getting a very weak preamp signal out to the drivers. With a 20 watt amp I can barely hear it. With a 100 watt amp on a 3 way I have to turn it up to max just to get it to 75 db
What am I doing wrong here?

This is the only preamp I have and I just got it. First time using a preamp. I have tried turning up the output all the way without any change. Actually, I have hit every single button and turned every knob on it without it changing anything.
REW still outputs the same super weak signal out of the preamp

Can you get the red clip light to come on, at any settings of the pad and volume knob?

Then the input level is enough. There may be a wrong REW setting.
Maybe someone with more REW experience can chime in here.

I grew up using linux....... I think I was the only person who liked it..... we should all go back back to linux...
Yeah, and for those of us who use computers more as an appliance, Macs are great.
I've still had no problems after 25 years of use. They just work.
For those who think Macs are expensive, try adding in the cost of Windows support, and all of your wasted time.

I think I'm too set in my ways to change anything now. Sort of how your moral values are set pretty much in stone at age 5...... I think your OS is set in stone by age 30
