After 35 years of playing guitar most likely at damaging levels. Perhaps my ear has gone "TIN"
( other than a few antiques)
I just recently gave up on the quest for NOS tubes, I Basically gave my excess supply away on ebay and have been using Electo-Harmonix EHs in all my amps. I must say, even the best of the best mullards and ampexes I had never sounded any better to me. Nor did they actually seem to hold up any better.

But Looking at 300B's and a price range from $45.00 - $1900 For WE's, It just makes me go HMMMmmmmmmmmmm.
