I am working on a build from a slavaging a 22liter slanted baffle speaker cabinet, with driver xt25 and mw19p (or mw19tx)
I know this build is done to death and can reference troel‘s desgin however I want to spice it up having crossover frequency at around 1khz, to minimize the woofer directivty problem so the tweeter needs a waveguide. does any onknow the smallest waveguide i could use ? i am hopping something like a 4 inch waveguide or an elliptcal wavrguide to modify the exisiting 3 inch dome opening in the cabinet

1kHz is below the woofer narrowing, the only waveguide that will work is one that is small so it will give up before 1k.
I agree on the give up but this is the reason of mounting it with waveguide to boost frequency at 1khz region even it is 1.5khz
Well I’ve searched a bunch of thread relating 25xt and wave guide there are user had put it into an 8 inch waveguide to cross it at 800hz it did not say whether dsp was used or not.

For 1kHz I might use a 50cm waveguide, but that's not important.
When you cross to a waveguide, you want to keep the woofer directivity. You should cross a 7.5" driver somewhere closer to 2kHz. 1kHz is too low for the woofer.

I second to that. While I don't know what you mean by a slanted baffle, chances are directivity is off at about 2k with normal waveguides.
If any, you could try Heissmann's copy of the WG300. Pretty well documented on the XT-tweeter and a good fit.
