Ive had real problems with this company. I sent them a bank transfer for GBP £1100 for JMLC 200T horns and they claim the money has not arrived. I followed up with my own bank (Starling) who have a SWIFT MT103 record to show it has been sent and arrived at the receiving bank. After days and days of email ping pong the proprietor refuses to investigate and denies the deposit has been made. Im now out of pocket with no recourse. Id suggest you treat any transactions with this company with huge caution - id insist on using only fully transparent, auditable and reversible mechanisms in future - if at all. All very disappointing.
Any ideas on a reputable horn manufacturer?

I'm always suspicious of people with few or no posts deciding to post here about troubles they've had with a seller. This is not really the venue for commercial problems that happen outside the forum.
I have never purchased horns from Autotech, but have several friends who have, and they were quite pleased with the product and process.

Understandable. I have no other agenda other than sharing a negative experience and seeking help to find an alternative source. I also dont seek to aportion blame, maybe its all the banks fault, i dont know.
It seems odd that you'd mention this.I followed up with my own bank (Starling) who have a SWIFT MT103 record to show it has been sent and arrived at the receiving bank.

I read the forums to get informed and look for solutions to problems others have already solved. Occasionally also contribute a little. I think most people do. Putting myself in others shoes - if someone has had a negative experience Id be grateful to know about that - and so i have, and should share it with all the facts. Its for others to come to their own conclusions as to whether to take it into consideration, or otherwise.
Companies who operate outside of typical guarantees, terms of trade, security of supply, contracts of goods etc are a high risk to us seeking to buy unusual specialist items. I read this forum and took it on faith from others that if I wire money to this company ill get my item because others have. I didnt, and the money is gone. If id gone via Paypal, ebay, Visa, Mastercard, or a reputable online store id have some recourse in place. I feel like im stating the obvious here but when risk in the transaction is high all the more important that informal feedback is taken into account. But you're right to be healthily sceptical, i would be too.
Perhaps the bank has received it and not transferred it to the company in question? Please keep us updated. The fact that it has operated great in the past is no guarantee for today and tomorrow. I remember a particular vendor for in the USA that used to be great...but ended up having many many many dissatisfied "customers".
