Wanted: SE transformer for the 6C33C with armorphous core, preferabel EU, 300 mA or more.

As I remember correctly, Monolith don't have 600R transformer.

Thank you very much, I guess, Monolith may be a good choise. They have custom made trainies, so now I have to collect money.
May be Torodoy is a starting point, I allready thougth about them.

There is a manufacturer in HK who sells 6S33S SE amorphous transformers on eBay at quite reasonable price. I have no experience with these transformers, but specs look good.
It is difficult to avoid Chinese stuff nowadays.
I had good experience with a smaller Chinese transformer: amorphous SE 3.5K 5W. The actual specs was reasonably close to what was advertised. Primary inductance, 35H (actual 28H with no DC, 15H with 70 mA DC). Primary DC resistance, 260 Ohms (actual 286 Ohms). Ratio 3.5K : 4/8R (spot on). Frequency response 20-20,000 (actual -2dB at 20 Hz and -1dB at 20,000 with 800 Ohm source and 10Vrms input signal). It sounded very good with 2A3 amplifier.
I've spent on them less than 10% of what I would have to pay for an equivalent Lundahl, Tango, or Monolith.
Search "amorphous transformer" on eBay. There will be something like 10 hits, and you will see it.
Yes , I saw them before and asked here if anybody has experience with that iron without response . Thank you for confirming that they are OK . Kind of smallish for 6c33c amp but you're right about pricing.
I didn't find an auction with transformers for 6C33c with amorpous core. Only trainies for 2A3 or 600B. Am I'm blind? Does someone has a link for me?
Also, amorphous C-cores for these transformers can be purchased on Alibaba for $6 apiece. They charge $100 shipping, so buying a batch of 10-20 makes sense, but a pair doesn't.
