Wanted: Radio Shack Full Range Drivers

Status
Not open for further replies.
I'm looking for a pair of Radio Shack full range drivers to use in a speaker project. The 40-1354 would be my first pick, but I might be willing to go for other models in the 5"-6" range. If anybody has been hoarding these and feels like getting rid of some, let me know.

Thanks

I have an NOS pair of 40-1286C that I will be glad to get out of my way. Too much stuff accumulating. I have the published parameters for these, plus some actual measurements from Martin King.

$20 plus Paypal fee and shipping from Zip 45601.

Cheers, Greg

Hello - I am interested in your RadioShack 40-1286C speakers. Do you still have them?

Question? - Are they "new" (i.e. UN-used)? Also do you have any speaker grills that fit them? Thanks.

BTW - we are remodeling our house and adding a sun room. We have used other 1286's as wall mounts in other rooms and would like two more for the new addition. I am not an audiophile - so I will show my ignorance = Can I just hook these in series with two existing speakers that I have in an old room nearby the new addition, and they will work with them? Or is there too much power draw (or whatever it is called)?

Thank you again. Please let me know if you think your speakers will work for my proposed application and if you still have them available to sell.
