Hi. Did you have any luck with this? I have a s312 that is not working, and am trying to repair.
Symptoms: about 2-4 seconds after power on the relays give a buzz as they turn on. No output. Not sure the 10,000uF caps are in good shape but don't have any spares to test.

yo, haven't found circuit diagram yet. mine was shorted accidentally by a mate, so its only got resistor & capacitor damage (ceramic caps, little brown, not large).
There is only one resistor that i am not sure on, any of you guys be kind enough to look at your boards? I can offer favours in return ... i repair phones , publish cds, id be happy to send you some or help with other things
.
capacitors are almost always the rigs that go on aged amps ... they usually are easy to spot ... puddle of dried crud around their base etc.

The relay coil DC supply comes from a single rectifier off the mains tx secondary and smoothed by a 10uf 63v cap which dries out due to the ripple. Parallel it to check, also check the voltage across the main filter caps as they came out of the factory with 80v caps and often had a bit more than that across them. Fixed heaps of them for Truscotts back in the day. Try digital Audio Group Syd for diagrams.

Sorry for the mis-information. I found a dead one, the pwr tx had 220v prim and 42.5-0-42.5v sec, the original main filters were 63v and on 240v they had around 64v so they would cook, I used to fit 80v caps. The component values are marked on the board under the components, maybe you have one without that?

polaris output stage: time I buy a decent camera
