Yes, those. They are both well suited to OB and work well together. That will help you a long way toward goods results and a happy speaker. 🙂

I suggest to keep the drivers isolated, whatever a tweeter from the woofer
or the woofer from the ground ( which is difficult because OB likes to have
1/4 pi reinforcement ). Not strings or low elasticity chords but use rubber bands. The best thing to start from is to build a frame ( sort of....a dolly)

From the technical electronic/ transducer part, I'm more well versed for 3 way design, where active crossover plays a part too: that's why I suggest to take some existing 3 way speaker with sufficient wattage . or use a 2 way, but the tweeter is usually crossed too low.

oh i see what you are sayin now. well, my three ways are pretty complex and there is seven drivers in each and then I have the overnight sensations.
I've never built OBs with 2" think baffles, but I've seen it done. Seems to work well.
It's fast and easy to knock together some baffles out of ply or OSB. Why not start cutting wood instead of thinking about it? What you waiting for? 😉

Just ordered the drivers. I'm going to use my mini dsp for a crossover for now. Thanks for the help. More questions to follow.
