My projector is on the way!
I already have a tv tuner card in my pc, but it will be a pain going through the pc everytime I want to watch tv, so I want to hookup my homemade lcd projector directly to the cable line and ps2.
There are many devices I can find, but most don't look like you can hookup cable tv to them. Only rca and s-video devices.
There is the NextVision N5 by ViewSonic with a remote, which is cool and I assume would do a great job, but it is expensive. Is there a cheaper way of doing what I want?

could use a VCR w/ AV ins and outs
coxal in for the cable
RCA ins for the PS
RCA outs to the projector..
i'm not to sure if there are any VCRs that have any s-video in or out, but it might be worth looking for too

Buying a cheap S-VHS vcr is your cheapest route that way you will have your tuner and A/V outputs
