use whatever you have handy, but be careful about heatsinking and max dissipation
bigger packed ones are good for 35W dissipation and will last millennium like that , while smaller packet ones are good for , say, 20W

Take a look at the irf520...low low input capacitance....nothing wrong with using to 220 devices. just pay attention to heat sink size....
