Maybe is the caps that I converted the unit...
0,01uF = 10nf
0,001uF = 1nf = ceramic cap with 102 writed.
Is it right? 😕

How is it not working? Do you get any sound out, is it distorted, does it not Wah? More information needed.

The negative of the battery goes is conected to the ground right?
Are the capacitors right?
The sound just don't come out of the circuit.
When I don't press the button, the guitar sound is playing normaly (bacause the switch is bypassing the wah), but if I press it, the sound disappear... I built a MUTE button hehehehe
edit: I forgot ! I'm using BC546 transistors, because I didn't find the 2N3904.

No, I don't have breadboard, but this is very simple, should work on the first try !

I already checked many times the PCB to see if I did any mistake, but is all right with PCB !

They say two 10nF capacitors and two 0,22uF eletrolitic ones... There's no 0,22uF in the schematic, and as I'm doubting of that 0,001uF on the output, I replaced with this 0,22uF !
After my work, when I arrive at my home I'll test it again, let's see !😀

I tested here on the computer, using a recorded LA note.
When I press the button I get some RF interference... No sound. 🙁

When I power the supply on, pressing the wah switch I get about a HALF of the original sound volume, identical of original, without wah effect. If supply is off, the wah switch turns to a mute switch.

If you hit the strings really hard, do you hear a distorted 'fart' from the amp for a split second?
That's what my first DIY stompbox (some kind of overdrive, iirc) did, and someone helped me trace it to some kind of biasing problem. I think I had messed up the battery hookup.
You HAVE gone over the whole NPN/PNP/+/-/GND transistors/power thing, right? It's given me a few headaches over the years.
You might also want to make sure you've not fried the transistors when you soldered it all together. Good luck.

Looking at the front face of a 2N3904 or any other US numbers transistor in that small package, the three legs are left to right emitter, base, collector. Japanese numbers like 2SC945 are wired left to right emitter collector base.
What is the leg arrangement of your BC transistors? POssibly collector base emitter? If that is the case, when substituting them for the 2N3904 types, they will need to be installed "backwards."
That is one thing that comes to mind for me. Transistors that are electrically the same may often have different pin arrangements. They can be used, but the legs have to be inserted in the correct holes on the board.

Your inductor seems to be 560uH and i see 500-600mH in schematics... micro- and milli- , did you try any other inductor ?

i might be able to help.... i have a vintage thomas Cry Baby
its just like the dunlop but the dunlop added a couple parts
(i think they added a rectifier or something to prevent reverse bias and a cap to filter voltage)
the 500uH inductor Is the KEY to the wah sound...
the thomas version is the version is the first version and dunlop i belive bought it from them...
(i heard the original wasent copyrighted!!)
