W4-1337SDF as midrange?

Any experience with the TB W4-1337SDF as a midrange? It would seem on paper at least to be a reasonable 400-4K midrange and has high enough efficiency to not cause crossover problems. They advertise low distortion, which of course is a flag for the first rule in marketing: Take your worst attribute and advertise it"

The Jim Holtz/Curt Campbell Statement monitors (LINK) have been a very popular DIY speaker. They use the TB W4-1337SA as the midrange. The 1337SA was the predecessor to the 1337SDF. Their spec sheets are nearly idntical.

I had not noticed that build. Thanks. I think if that tweeter was rolled off a bunch, might be very nice. The "lowly" RS drivers are amazingly good if you control their breakup. A 3 way makes that easy. Not much in the 2-ways I have used them in.
