This is sad news, he and Slone in a short space of time...
The very first amp I ever built from scratch was the Low Tim by Dr. Leach in the Feb issue of Audio magazine, I do not remember the year...

I will miss his writings, and that website was a legend. A great, gentle, and inspired man, clearly gave his life to teaching others, humbly, and with passion and dignity.

My longest-lasting amp is one I built inspired by Leach's Low TIM Amp. I put it together from bits and pieces in 1979, and it's still around today, ugly but functional. It's not often that you get a great engineer and educator in the same package - a sad passing.
When the ones of influence pass away, one by one, you become to realise you are gradually fading yourself.

he will always be remembered for his trailblazing work in the field of audio....he will surely be missed....
Here's hoping that Georgia Tech will keep his personal webpages up and running. Perhaps DIYAUDIO could host them, or compile as a series of PDFs.
Seems a decade ago we had discussed the disappearance of the OnSemi/Motorola '8599 used in his amplifiers and I was able to source them.
