I'm trying to find the output format from the cdx2500aq in the Teac, but my technical know-how limits me as always.
My dac feeds on EIAJ, and it would be beneficial to tap the signal directly if possible, instead of spdif and conversions.
The connection from the chip is via these pins, as far as i can tell, and a 220 resistor:
32 LRCK (D/A interface for 48-bit slot. LR clock f=Fs)
34 DATA (Outputs DA16(MSB) when PSSL=1 or serial data from
48-bit slot (2's complements, MSB first) when PSSL=0).
35 BCLK (Ouputs DA15 when PSSL=1 or bit clock from 48-bit slot
when PSSL =0)
58 C16M (16.9344MHz output. Subject to vari-pitch control.)
Ground.
- also a partial connection via pin 59 MD2 (Digital-Out ON/OFF control.)
These signals enter the saa7350, presumably a digital filter chip that the tda1547-dac requires to operate.
If this could be done, I'll bet the outcome would be pretty darn spectacular.
Best
Kenneth.
