GoldPoint (DIY), Khozmo and ELMA would be my choice. I have used Khozmo in a DIY pre-amp and quality from the 3 brands is A1. I have inquired with Victor on the last drop TU-8600S. Still debating on DIY or go right to Pathos.
I was looking at the DACT CT2 but wasn't sure whether it justified the price. The build quality of the Eizz looks reasonable good and it use AMRS resistors as well, so I gave it a try. With the Eizz and the Psvane Art series drive tubes, it eliminates the top end harshness which is what I want.
It might not help you alot at all but I use DACT CT2 in my tube preamp and i am satisfied after 15+ years and still working very well. I did not do comparison with other pots but i dont think i hear any degradation.
