Dear diyAudio community,

I'm Philip, developer of embedded systems and the inventor of VoltaStream. My latest creation is called VoltaStream ZERO and is a fully integrated and affordable audio streaming solution running Linux. Furthermore it is completely open source and the KiCAD design files are available.

For 49,- EUR (incl. VAT for EU orders) you will get:

  • NXP i.MX6ULL @ 1GHz with 512 MB DDR3 RAM

  • TI PCM5121 DAC with integrated volume control / 106dB SNR

  • TOSLINK and S/PDIF output

  • b/g/n WiFi

  • 28 GPIO's including one free I2S bus

  • free wooden case with laser engraving

  • designed and made in Germany

  • measures only 65 x 30 mm

The board does run PolyOS. A Linux system created from scratch using yocto. It includes the most important streaming technologies like shairport-sync (AirPlay emulator), DLNA renderer and librespot (Spotify Connect emulator). It's frequently updated through the integrated updater and more features are just around the corner.

Details regrading VoltaStream ZERO can be found HERE
Also offering customization service for volume orders.

I'd really like to hear your opinion on this. Any tips for improvements or wishes?

Best wishes,
Philip.
