Hi guys i cannot find a voltage regulator thebpart number is pq30rv11 and is there any replacement then i can use thanks in advance
Thats a bit too much for my pocket isnt there any other way that i can regulate the voltage using the exact same resistors that set the voltage on this one
It would be relatively easy to build a circuit to replicate the original IC but would it be economically viable ?
What is the dropout ? Do you need the remote function ?

The LM317 is probably the easiest way to go but you might need to change the resistors and would most definitely need to change the pinout. The LM317 does have a higher drop out voltage.
k ive just pulled up the datasheet of the lm317 looks perfect i just have to build the circuit then thanks
What sort of input voltage (under load) are we dealing with? This is an LDO after all.
Could you deal with swapping the components in the upper and lower leg of the feedback network? Then you could use an LM317-style regulator. (PQ30xx has Vref between GND and VREF, but LM317 has Vref between VREF and OUT.)
Digikey's search spit out an AZ2117H-ADJTRG1 by Diodes Inc. - 1.5 A, SOT-223.
It's probably a good idea to search manufacturer's sites as well. This way I found the LT1963A (similar arrangement with Vref referenced to ground, alas it's 1.21 V typ so voltage would be a bit off). I suggest you look at some of the other results, I got more than a dozen matches.
Could moderation please move this to the power supply department?
