I think that jackinnj and me are using the same software - its electronics workbench, a simulation program. and Its FREE! or at least my version was. (at electronicsworkbench.com)

Only difference is, I couldnt get the Oscilloscope to play - must try harder.

can you use the GRAPHER?

You can do the same analysis with LTSpice -- akak SwitcherCAD

GRAPHER??

Not got that far yet, just freshly downloaded it this afternoon. Got the Oscilloscope going now though.

Its the first bit after switch on thats painful to watch, as the caps are charged then its crunch crunch crunch, I see now why the 2x vAC caps are required. I'll have a play with this I think....
