Hello people! I'm a new guy to this forum and I really like this community from what I read till now. I am a guy that has no experience with audio equipment. I'm a bit ashamed to say that I even use extremely low cost headphones and an audio system that's at very best entry level. But I plan to change this. Why?
The answer I simple. I re-discovered this audio recording and I want to record this type of scenes too. That's why I want to ask you exactly how should I do this. From an article I read on LifeHacker I understood that I'll need a microphone (or two, for this type of recording), an audio interface, DAW software, a digital keyboard, studio monitors, and headphones. What do you think about this?
Also, I may be a noob in this field, but I really am a perfectionist on other projects, that's why I want to ask about which audio editing software you recommend for this type of work. I'm not scared about learning for 4-5-6 months if that's the case.
I hope I posted this on the right category and it'll be great if you could help me! I promise that I won't run away from this forum once I'll get what I need! Thanks a lot!

Hello guy. Welcome to this site.
What you need, depends on the entire setup. I participated in a short film using a couple of microphones glued to "Clothes clips" and a simplest cassette tape recorder. This was about 10 years ago.

Well, right now my entire setup means two laptops, but I'm willing to spend $1.xxx for this project. Also, for almost professionally recording that type of sound, I'll need a soundproof room/ studio?
Thanks for the answer, Osvaldo.
Thanks for the answer, Osvaldo.
Why don't you use the most basic stuff you can find, and make a few practice productions. Learn the process. Technique is a major factor in this. You can always go find more advanced gear, but by having some experience first, you are less likely to make a bad purchase choice, and you will be better ready to understand the features you need and the ones you don;t.
