I wan to to try VituixCAD to evaluate my design. I've used Xsim and BoxSim before. Still some things are not clear how to use VituixCAD.
When taking measurements, mic is at 10cm from the driver center. This for each driver.
VituixCAD Diffraction tool give the possibility to bring the cabinetshape into account.
VituixCAD also gives the possibility to generate off-axis plots.
For further use of these plots into the crossover designer should one position the microphone at the centre of each driver when this one is places on the baffle?
Or should you move the mic, to the listening position as is tweeter level?
How does this affect the X and Y value in the crossover designer?
Also how should one bring into account a tilted baffle in the crossover designer?
