Visaton BG 20 8 OHM

Hi chaps. Does anyone have any experience / opinion on these drivers? I am hoping to use them in an OB with 4 X Alpha 15's. Many thanks!

i use the driver twice as an indirect invers driver
in my double horns
SAXOPHON and RDH20

as an direct driver better take something
like the SICA 8" 1100

Hi,

I've used these for fullrange and subjectively they sound good. But they have rather high harmonic distortion in the midrange - not so obvious with music but very noticeable with sine waves. Also they need cutting off the whizzer cone and adding a tweeter above 10 kHz. What I do like is their bass - especially when using two mounted in push-pull to reduce distortion. They don't go ridiculously low but they sound tight and effortless.

Thank you Technofreak. I intend to try a couple of different drivers, I prefer listening to measuremens. Incidently, I watched a documentary about Estonia, what a fantastic and beautiful country you live in!
