I am looking for places to source transistors for my
Marantz 2385. Some of the #'s I need are:
2SC1775AE
2SA733Q
2SA939B
2SC2071B
Any suggestions on where to find these kinds of parts in North America(Canada)??
Thanks

Thanks SYN08 ,
however when I tried to search they were not complete matches.
The last letter(s) or suffix code does not return anything,
I'm not real educated on the model numbers but I was trying to find "exact" matches.
Do these suffix's make a difference???

They do but, for regular applications, not much. Usually the suffixes are defining device classes (e.g. of beta). Common designs have usually good margins to such variations. But then you may want to check the service manual/schematics. Checking the device manufacturer data sheets and compare the parameters will help as well.

according to my service manual each of the transistors has 2 choices for the suffix code
eg. 2SC1775A E or F
2SA733 Q or R
2SA733 P or Q

, so I would assume that these codes are significant and I don't want to stray to far from the original spec.
If I'm going to refurbish the unit I would like to make it perform at least to factory spec. if not Better!!
