I have a dead KEX-50 here with the DIN plug. It's one of the later tuner/cassette units with a numeric display. I have an older analogue tuner, but I can't remember the model number.

Edit: I think my head unit was a KP-7500 or similar. Anyway, check out this brochure for more model numbers. Pioneer car 1980

Old Pioneer

Had a ol Pioneer GM-120, the series started with the KP designation...like KP-366 or something like that...I think it was a three digit number, perhaps a four digit after the KP, its' been a long time now.

well, now i have another question, lol...... i googled the amp, and found an old thread on this site http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/car-audio/38000-pinout-pioneer-8-pin-connector.html and the input signal to the amp is small red/white wires, which is curious, because the only thing i could see as speaker output on the head is really small(22-24awg solid) and over 3' long in red and white, or possibly the green and grey with the red and black, and the speakers are negative ground. the red and white wires look like they may have been added by someone. anyways, are you saying you have the service manuals for both of mine? or yours? and, can i get the wiring info, please. i think i may put both of these back into working condition as a pair
