I recently bought a Viewsonic Nextvision N4 to use as a line doubler. I've taken some preliminary pictures (my digicam isn't THAT great) just to show the quality of the tuner. At some point in the future I'll be doing a full review type thinggy testing not on the tuner, but also the inputs, and other various aspects of the N4. The biggest problem with taking pictures off of cable is - no pausing 😛 But some are pretty still. In the shots I'm posting there is a 32" JVC D-Series TV and a Samsung 152T LCD running the nextvision at 1024x768.
#1 Some Seinfeld Action
#2 Some Advert. - most of the picture is still except the guy's hand
#3 the moving hand from #2 at full reso.
Sorry if the pics are too big, but there's no other way to tell the story. I'll let you judge the pics on your own, I'm still waiting to see what the s-vid input looks like. But watching TV was not at all unpleasurable, I found myself watching the LCD more than the JVC while I had them next to each other.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
