ViewFrame Spectra C - video connection

Hello, Ive just bought an nview viewframe spectra C

Can anyone help me get it to take input video?

There is a thread from 2003 about this but Im unclear - Do I have to rewire the VGA cable?

To be clear, this is an LCD projection panel from about 1991.

My panel powers up, displays default screen and attempts to switch to input video from the PC - but shows only a green screen. Have reset settings to 640 x 480 px but no luck.
