came across this sight and it has a wealth of info but gets really technical real quick i would like to just build for my first project and out side drive in style projection . i have a outside bar and hot tub would like to build easy and cheap to get my feet wet , i see the ones on ebay just wondering if they work , the info on lcd panels is great and im gonna check the local goodwill for ohp tommorow see what they got , i'd like to suprise my wife when she goes out of town in mid july with a home theater system when she comes home kinda while you were out project any more newbie info in consice terms would be great. wnat to have a big screen inside and out

Well, your easiest route, if not the most elegant, is to buy a nice elmo, dukane, or 3m metal halide overhead projector.
Go to ebay and get a sharp projection panel, hopefully 1 qa-1800.
Hook it up to a dvd player. You are done.

but also see replacement bulbs are high , any opinions would be welcome cuz i dont mind spending the money i just want to get a nice unit for movies and computer gaming
