I was wondering which produces better images. i have an lcd projection panel with 640 x 480 resolution it also has s video and vga inputs. i currently am using the s video for input from my progressive scan dvd player. would i get a better image by using the vga output from my pc and play the dvds on that vs my regular dvd player?
what is the resolution of s video output from a regular dvd player?? i know the best i can display is 640 x 480 due to my panel and vga would send out 640 x 480 but s video is more convenient. if the image is going to get better i would do the switching from dvd player to pc for output. thanks

You should try VGA , it should be better. S-video is nothing more than composite video broken into it's basic parts.
