VFET testing method and result

All of the vfets passed the the diode test, my multimeter just beeps to symbolize continuity.🙂

I think I see what your getting at soundhappy. If I move the leads around when testing resistance I can get a value in between 1-2ohs for all the transistors. I'm afraid I committed a neweb mistake of using the wrong type of leads 😕.

Another question one of the 2sk60s is a different grade than all the other vfets. 7 vfets are grade ha-55 and one 2sk60 is p55. I will test the 2sk60s tomorrow.

Good news Your 2SK60 are the same rank 55 grade.

If you reverse the leads of lab multimeter the Ohm reading will be the same?

Yes the same between Vfet source and drain 1~2 Ohm's.

I have with my cheap dmm - negative lead to D, positive lead to S = 2.6R, positive lead to D negative lead to S = 1.6R

Diode test ok. But 2.6R shows after 10 seconds. The reading starts from 3.5-4R and imidiately drops to 2.8-3R, than to 2.6R

If diode test show OK that resistance test is fine as well imo.
Probably DMM imperfection
