VFet and ESL-57's?

Just completed the N Channel version of the VFet, and am wondering if it will be safe to use w ESL-57 and its somewhat challenging impedance curve?

First burn it in on some junk speakers, to avoid unhappiness. It may not yet have been used with Quads,
but the peak load current is limited, so the amp should be ok.

Its running in on a pair of DIY Voigt Pipes I've been working on. Want to make sure I'm not going to harm the amp - or speakers for that matter 🙂

I don't see that the amp could be easily damaged by the load, even by a short circuit.
Go easy on the speakers until you get the feel of the amp's sound.

Gingerly is the way forward...

Speakers that can go "sideways" and an amp with unobtanium parts...

Precarious to say the least 🙂

That's how I would do it. For the best sound burn in for a week or two first, anyway.
