Very simple quasi complimentary MOSFET amplifier

Hi:

Some people have very strong opinions about only certain MOSFET's sounding OK in audio, not liking MOSFETS with less-desirable channel geometry, etc.

Anyone know what problems the less-desirable MOSFET types cause?

I'm also intrigued to read about the quasi topology producing more even harmonics (even if should be obvious, I never got the thought, so thanks for pointing that out).

My interest is more toward musical instrument amplification leaning toward to clean side, but not like I would want listening to records.

I have a lot of odd orphan MOSFET's and heatsinks and have been looking at power followers and other simple amps.

Thanks

Murray
